Short-term coverage that pays a benefit when you receive covered care at home — like nursing visits, therapy, or help with daily activities after an illness, injury, or hospital stay.
Good for: Anyone who'd prefer to recover at home without draining savings on in-home help.

Why work with an independent agent
I work for you — not for one insurance company
Because I'm an independent agent, I'm not limited to one company's plans. That means I can look across multiple carriers and show you options side by side, then help you choose what genuinely fits your needs and budget.

Questions & answers
Frequently asked questions
General answers below. Exact benefits always depend on the specific plan, so I'll walk you through the details of any policy you're considering.
What does hospital indemnity insurance pay?
Hospital indemnity plans pay a fixed cash amount when you have a covered hospital stay — commonly a set benefit per day or per admission. The money is typically paid directly to you, in addition to anything your health insurance pays, so you can use it for deductibles, copays, or everyday bills. Some plans also offer benefits for things like observation stays, emergency room visits, or ambulance rides; it varies by plan.
How do critical illness cash benefits work?
If you're diagnosed with a condition the policy covers — such as certain cancers, heart attack, or stroke — the plan pays a lump-sum cash benefit, usually directly to you. You can use it however you need: medical bills, travel for treatment, a mortgage payment, or replacing lost income. Covered conditions, benefit amounts, and waiting periods vary by policy, and some plans pay a partial benefit for less severe conditions.
Do dental plans have waiting periods?
Often, yes. Many plans cover preventive care like cleanings and exams right away or soon after you enroll, while many have waiting periods before they'll pay for major services like crowns, bridges, or dentures. Some plans offer shorter or no waiting periods, usually with different costs or benefit levels. I'll show you how the plans compare so there are no surprises.
Can I add these plans to Medicare Advantage or an employer plan?
Generally, yes. These are standalone supplemental policies that work alongside the coverage you already have, whether that's Medicare Advantage, Original Medicare, an employer plan, or an individual plan. They pay according to their own terms, separate from your main insurance. Some Medicare Advantage plans already include limited dental or vision benefits, so I'll help you see whether an extra policy actually adds value for you.
What does home health care coverage help with?
Home health care policies pay a benefit when you receive covered care in your home — for example, visits from a nurse or therapist, or help from a home health aide with daily activities like bathing and dressing — typically for a set period after an illness, injury, or hospital stay. Medicare covers home health care only in limited situations and generally doesn't pay for ongoing help with daily activities, so this coverage can help fill that gap. Eligibility, benefits, and how long they last vary by plan.
Are these plans a replacement for health insurance?
No. These are supplemental, limited-benefit policies designed to work alongside major medical coverage or Medicare — not replace it. They help with specific costs your main plan may leave behind.
Does it cost anything to talk with you?
No. Getting quotes, asking questions, and comparing plans with me is free, and there's no obligation to buy anything.
